Supporting Programs in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department

Graduates of the department have been generous in their support. We are especially grateful for the time, energy, and expertise contributed by our alumni to the department through service on our Advisory Board, our Academic Advisory Committees (both Undergraduate and Graduate), and the Arkansas Academy of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. We are also grateful for financial contributions from individuals through our scholarship program, and for the contributions of the Academy in support of scholarships and student activities.

Your Participation

Endowed scholarships for students in the department can be established at $25,000 each. Contributions of this sort enable the donor to name the scholarship in honor of someone special. The Billy B. Bryan Scholarship, the Xzin MacNeal Scholarship, and the Joel Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund are growing through the contributions of alumni. Currently, new labs are needed to support the growth of the department. In addition, there are several existing labs available to be named by donors. There are two options for naming existing labs.

  • Option 1: The Biological and Agricultural Engineering Lab Complex can be named by a donor of $400,000 or more.
  • Option 2: Individual labs in the complex can be named by donors of $100,000 each
